Forward Motion
Moving forward. It is something we all do. We progress in age, and some of us, I'll call us...the lucky ones, progress in intellect...gaining knowledge as we digest new things around us. Be it in books, in the news, in nature, or your friends. Unfortunately a good percentage of the world today do not fall into that category, unless you count learning what kind of beer tastes better than the other, and other things of great importance...personally and culturally, ya know?
Forward motion in our jobs, in our lives. At least it's what we want, though not always attainable. Things happen, situations change...that sometimes do not allow forward progression...accidents, disasters, and the like.
In movies you watch a story go from the beginning to the end, or even the end to the beginning sometimes, but still you learn and experience things that you haven't seen or heard before...unless you are like my mom who watches the Godfather 15.83 times a day, but even then if you look careful there will undoubtedly be something you have missed.
Though sometimes we may feel like we want to know where forward motion will take us, it is best just to live in the moment...one page at a time.
